This shopping and dining center was located right next to my hotel; The Beachcomber and right near Waikiki Beach. When did the International Marketplace become e shopping center? Even the seating is nice. Restaurants have come and go. It's a great place to hide from the rain a bit, but as for unique Hawaiian shopping this ain't it. I also enjoyed the wide array of stores and restaurants. It's best to check out their happy hour though.

Aloha! It's up to your pocket if you choose to shop in here. The International Village Mall is a Vancouver shopping centre in Chinatown on Pender Street that becomes especially alive during Chinese New Year. I have been to many Luau's over the last 30 years and this was the most enjoyable as they tell the story of the Hawaiian Royal Family. What they do have, which I liked, was a Magnolia ice cream shop (Filipino ice cream and Halo Halo), a Flour and Barley (great for pizza and people watching) and a Mitsuwa. There is a Sak's Fifth Ave instead. A mall in the Honolulu area.
What a transformation from the old International Market.

International Village Mall – Shopping mall in Vancouver, BC – 88 West Pender Street, Vancouver, Lots of eateries, lots of retail therapy, large (paid) parking structure, good way to get steps for the day! There are so many shops and restaurants to explore. Alexis came to our house and brought all the models of Scooters so we could try them out for ourselves.
I love going to malls in new places but unfortunately this mall had mostly all the same stores as back home in California.
