Great book, Life After Life pdf is enough to raise the goose bumps alone. Everything was resolved in one chapter which was like five pages and I know the author tried to make the scene a bit dramatic. Wow, what an amazing book. After many years of Xander and his mom getting beaten, the mother finally got a divorce from him. It is a provocative book, one that can challenge and ultimately change readers’ understandings about life and death. A few weeks ago I saw a documentary on television about reincarnation. Looking forward to the author’s next book, Antipodes, which I already have sitting on my nightstand. Now, in this provocative and fascinating book, Dr. Jim B. Tucker, a child psychiatrist who currently directs the research, shares these studies with the general public. Being a graduate of VCU, UVA studies in this field and similar fields (of which I hold relevant degrees in psychology and religious studies) are extremely intriguing being it is so close to where I live. However, as I read through the book, I found that while her method (hypnosis) is efficient, her analysis is all over the place. It will make you think about things in your life, you never thought of. I had to re-write every chapter multiple times and probably will continue to do so in the future. Dr. Tucker continues much of the work Dr. Stevenson did at UVA regarding the stories of reincarnation claims by children all over the world. An excellent read for anyone interested in the theory of reincarnation. Life Before Life presents the cases in a straightforward way and explores the possibility that consciousness may continue after the brain dies. His voice is real, honest, and funny, even as he’s wrestling with some of the darkest memories you could imagine.
