Since the random damage can go face, it becomes less reliable while behind on the board as the damage can be wasted. Since this is an end of turn effect, it loses the flexibility cards like Avenging Wrath and Reno the Relicologist have for destroying Taunt minions for lethal, or using the random effect first to efficiently set up for targeted spells and trading.
